So, to make this easy on myself I will leave you with a creation from Pinterest. This, my friends, is painters drop cloth. I am in the newer stages of decorating my new home and I couldn't wait to try this out in the bathroom.

It has been a while...
Let's give this another go since it seems life just doesn't seem to be slowing down... I contemplated on how to start this blog thing again. Over the last few years, I have been lurking on so many of your pages keeping up with your beautiful creations and stories. Raising kids, caring for ill elderly parents and all the other stuff that goes along with life, I guess the right time is now.

Blogland
Blog land is amazing to me. When i see all of the people in different parts of the world who have so kindly dropped by my blog, I am truly amazed! All of those places I have only dreamt of visiting. AND each time I visit someones blog with pictures of their homes, trips and adventures I am in awe.
I seem to forget and take for granted that I am in blog land too! Maybe I should really take time and enjoy the beauty of my own home.
I hope each of you have a beautiful day...where ever you are!

I can feel it!!
Cooler mornings...I can feel fall creeping back into my world! I've been holding myself back from decorating my house with pumpkins, leaves, scarecrows... FALL! The holidays! They are on their way!
I tell ya...this is the time when I realize how quickly the holidays will be here!! Time to do more baking...Time to decorate...Time to get started on my Christmas gift list! I'm giddy just thinking about it! I'm not one to worry or get anxious as far as Christmas is concerned. I do what I can, when I can. I love those around me all year round and their love is what I am most grateful for. So here we go! Bring on the next few months...I am ready!
Now, back to hooky talk...Don't you just love to see granny squares, stacked and ready for joining? It IS yummy, isn't it? Kinda like coffee or hot chocolate on a cool morning sort of yummy or even the smell of chocolate cookies baking in the oven YUMMY!
After reading that paragraph, would you say I am "HOOKED"? :-) Yes, I think I am hooked on granny squares. mmmmmmm!

Pondering...
Do you ever have those days where you sit and ponder anything and everything that comes to your mind? I realized for the first time today, that when that happens, I have a choice...I can either look at the cup half full or half empty. Either way, I make the decision as to how I will deal with everything that rolls around in my head! Today I have chosen half full! THE GLASS, you guys, not my head! ;-)
Then, my Mother-In-Law comes into my life. I've heard all the scary stories about what it will be like having a --------mother-in-law... and guess what? My Mother-In-Law is the greatest! No trades, NO WAY!!!! I keep this one forever and ever!
These Granny squares are made with the help of my Mom and my wonderful Mother-In-Law. Here are a few pictures of blankets that will be given to elderly patients. My Mom's are really the cream of the crop with hearts of gold. Today, my glass is half full and these little ladies remind me of just how blessed or lucky or whatever you want to consider it is that I am.
Have a great Thursday! :-)

3rd post! HIP-HIP- HOORAY!
Good morning all of you out there in blogland!!! Let me start out by saying thank you to Helen, who was the very first person ever to comment my blog! When I logged on and saw I had a comment, I choked on my coffee and I gave a triumphant "YES!" to my computer screen.
This is all so new to me that it won't suprise you when I tell you that I can not post a comment back to you Helen...So, Helen, I do apologize! I have been trying all morning to comment your beautiful Granny Square Blanket! The colors are gorgeous!
I love to see everyones creations when they crochet. There are so many different color coordinations and styles that I certainly would have never thought of and I am amazed at the beauty of each piece. I guess the beauty of everyones crochet is the reason I have a few too many WIPS! OH! But I do love the feeling of a finished item and the happiness it brings to my home, or as a gift or donation. (I also make blankets for donations to hosiptal and ederly care facilities.) There is just something about creating an item that brings warmth to the body and a smile to the heart!

Coffee PLEASE!
I was never a big coffee drinker, but it seems as I got older, a coffee boost each morning has become a daily thing. Oh! How I love the first sip of coffee in the morning!
I have been a busy crochet bee! I made this blanket for my wonderful sissy's birthday. I am also working on a Christmas tree skirt. (Along with a few other WIP's, I admit. :-/ ) I was afraid that I wouldn't finish the tree skirt because my mind started to wander to other projects I want to do. SO, I dug my feet in (or my hook, rather) and I will have it done in a few days! Tada pictures soon!
After the long weekend, I think it's time for me to have a looksee at blogland. I love to see everyones beautiful crochet WIPS and TADAS. Gives me a crochet boost...kinda like my coffee....waaaa, I just reached for my coffee cup and it looks like I need another cup of coffee!
Have a beautiful day!
